unbound_1.16.0rc1 fails to start

Installing unbound_1.16.0rc1 over the top of the current install (unbound_1.15.0) it fails when started

Yes, Version 1.15.0 works just fine.

Hi Ray,

The issue with the Windows build seems to be related to newer versions of the cross compiler and not the Unbound code.
We will release the Windows build of 1.16.0 shortly, compiled with a known to work compiler version.
We will look into the issue properly for the next release.
