Hi,
Replied emails for this(nlnetlabs) going toward user's email
address, instead of going toward the Mailing-List email
unbound-users@unbound.net, please fix this.
When emails are forwarded by the mailing-list software, then
"To:" AND ("Reply-To:" or "Reply-to:") fields,
or,
"To:" field,
must need to be set with this email address:
"unbound-users@unbound.net"
In that way, when user's will press "Reply" button in their
email-client (Thunderbird, etc) or in their web-interface, ...
mailing-list email address will appear in "To:", instead of the
person who replied.
Hi,
NLnetLabs is the nly mailing-list, where i manually copy the
unbound-users@unbound.net email address and paste in the "To:" to
send to mailing-list,
NEVER SEEN any such mailing list, beside this !
How is it standard feat, and not a bug !
Why should i send reply to a user, instead of the mailing-list ! ?
what am i missing ! ?

NLNet Labs is not actually a mailing list, but they host several and I understand what you mean.
Our experience differs; I am currently subscribed to around 200 netops and related mailing lists, and they all use the correct behaviour (i.e. the behaviour exhibited by this list). Organisations like the IETF, whose primary channel for discussion and work is mailing lists do this too, and have always done it this way as far as I know.
On every one of the lists I've been subscribed to over the past couple of decades at least one person has appeared insisting that it would be beneficial to change the way the mailing list forwards mail, with specific reference to reply-to/group reply. They give up after a while. You're tilting at windmills.
You don't need to manually copy anything when you reply to a message received from this list; you just need to "reply all" or "group reply", or whatever your mail client calls it. People who filter mail from lists into folders, server-side often appreciate the additional direct reply. People who don't find other ways to cope (e.g. procmail/formail -D).

People frequently reply directly to the senders of specific messages on mailing lists without intending to copy the list. It's good practice to take side conversations off-list to avoid disturbing the (sometimes thousands of) other subscribers who don't need to hear a private conversation.
With the behaviour you're advocating, many such intended-private replies will go to the list by accident. Hilarity often ensues.
We've been doing things this way for the past 20 years that I've been using mailing lists, and likely for longer than that. This way is better, honest.

Hi Paul, Miek Gieben,
I sent similar emails to others (not only to you),
to show/demonstrate, when someone subscribing to a mailing-list,
then he/she expect emails coming via/from the mailing-list, not from
a person directly.
It is not right to send email directly to a user or few users only.
Initial posting and other posting are intended to be shared with ALL
subscribers.
i also have close to 200 or over mailing-list subscription, let me
REPEAT,
NONE are like this nlnetlab mailing-list.
every other mailing-list ... when "Reply" button is pressed on any
posting, then Thunderbird opens new email and places the
mailing-list email address in the "To:" field, (except nlnetlabs.nl
list).
That is what i'm expecting.
I DO NOT WANT ANY PERSON/USER TO SEND ME EMAIL DIRECTLY.
I SUBSCRIBED to MAILING-LIST EMAIL-ADDRESS ONLY,
NOT to a person's email.
That's what i wanted all to understand.
If you cannot do that, then you should also place a notice in
subscription page that other users will start to email you directly,
when you subscribe.
AND WHEN YOU REPLY ... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLACED ONLY ONE EMAIL
ADDRESS unbound-users@unbound.net IN THE "To:" FIELD, NO NEED TO
FILL "Cc:" or "Bcc:", REMOVE "Cc:" & "Bcc:". THANK YOU.

Hi Paul, Miek Gieben,

You are seeking to enforce what is, for all practical purposes, a
Reply-To policy. In open source software lists, there are many who
consider Reply-To evil.
I happen not to agree with that evaluation, but from what I've seen,
it has majority acquiescence, if not support.
My advice has to be, give it up. You are not going to win this battle.
What you will do instead is end up being banned. Which means you lose.
