e.g. --enable-packed?
"nsd -v" does not.

No, there is not a way to print the ./configure options from the NSD
executable. For package systems, they usually store this in the 'source
package' or the metadata from which the package is built from.

Living in both worlds, I disagree. For example libreswan shows compile time options when using “pluto -v”.
It would be good for nsd to do this as well

Bind also logs this at startup I seem to remember.
