We are pleased to announce the latest release of Krill, version 0.16.2 ‘Wait Until Your Mother Hears About This’.
This release only contains one improvement. A parent CA will not re-issue a CA certificate if requested by a child if the request does not contain any changes and the current certificate is still valid for some time. The parent will instead return the current CA certificate.
This will help mitigate CRL growth for a parent CA that has a child that is still running Krill 0.15.0 which has a bug that causes it to continuously re-request certificates.
We would also like to use this opportunity to ask people that are still running Krill 0.15.0 to upgrade their Krill installation.
