Get zone error message

Is it possible to get dns zone error message in command line, not only in log file? It would be much easier to write shell scripts for fixing dns zones.

In nsd 3 there is 'nsdc rebuild' that shows errors for ALL dns zones.
Is it possible to create the same tool for dns zone checking in NSD 4?
It can be a separate tool or a key for nsd-checkconf.
