Hi team,
I would like to ask for a prepared Epel repository package whit the latest stable version Unbound 1.9.4 for Centos 7.7.1908
I found only the quite old version 1.6.6-1.el7
Is any option from your side to update the repository?

Speaking with my Red Hat on,
The version in EPEL is not allowed to be newer that the version in RHEL.
This means that it will never follow upstream releases too closely. But
right now it is very very old.
I am trying to get the RHEL version to be updated more frequently. The
way people can help is by filing customer/rhbz tickets with the features
and bugfixes that they want but are missing in RHEL.

Hello Paul,
thank you for the clarification, I hope for a future update in RHEL repository and later in EPEL.
Anyway, are somewhere required steps to upgrade actual running 1.6.6-1.el7 to the latest version via RPM? It seems to be the same for RHEL, Unbound package is old and the newest package is not in the repository, then how to proceed with an update?
