Addendum: poor unbound qps completed recently

Hi

I am still chasing this one.

Is there a case/unbound setting/yum update/something where Unbound, running in a RHEL 5.5 environment has had the qps slow right down?

Hello Bruce,

we're (@ Men & Mice) not aware of any issue with Ubound that would be
the cause of such a slow down between version.

Steps to troubleshoot this:

* check what the Unbound statistics are saying (total.requestlist.max,
total.requestlist.exceeded, num.answer.rcode.*)
* check the Unbound logfile/syslog for any warning/error messages
* use the "perf" tool that is part of unbound to have an alternative
source of the testing data

You can also send the Unbound configuration and statistics output to
"support@menandmice.com" for inspection (please let us know the CPU and
memory configuration of the machine).

Best regards
