NSD is a slave with multiple masters. When NSD receives a NOTIFY with a higher serial - which master will it contact for XFR? Always the one which sent the NOTIFY or just any of the masters?
I wonder if multi-master-check:yes is also usefull for NOTIFY-triggered XFR or only for SOA-refresh-value triggered SOA-checks.

NSD will try the XFR from the master that sent the NOTIFY.
In our setup we have 2 hidden masters and all Anycast-slaves have configured both masters.
If one hidden master is down, I see that some slaves "fall behind" as if they were still checking the currently not availble master. That's why I asked. Do you know if this is a new feature? Maybe I have to update the slaves.
