How do I install just named-xfer from the bind-8 package. I downloaded
the source, untarred it, and I think I'm doing make on the right one,
but I just get errors. Is there something I may be missing, or is there
a better way to do zone transfers?

what errors? On which platform? With bind or with nsd?

I'm running with the named-xfer from bind8, a cronjob runs every hour.
I works perfect,
